Gardner Denver valves and seats presented at CIPPE show in Beijing

With the uncertainty and increased competition in oil markets around the world, oil related companies are closely watching their spending. During the CIPPE show in March in Beijing, China, attendees searched for high-quality consumables that could give them the most value for their investment. They found answers with Gardner Denver’s valves and seats. Attendees were able to closely examine the valves and seats and noticed key differences in the material, design and urethane. Plus, they learned Gardner Denver’s valves and seats had been tested at the Fuling shale gas field and lasted 42% longer than the closest competition.

“CIPPE gave us a great opportunity to show our high-quality consumables to more of our Chinese customers,” says José Rubin, Gardner Denver International Sales Director. “We were able to personally educate them on the key differences in our products including the ease of use and our color-coding system. When they saw this firsthand and learned about the life cycle of our valves and seats, they were eager to use them.”

Rubin says both Jianghan Oilfield Company and Shengli Down Hole Engineering placed orders during CIPPE. Both are new customers and learned about the consumables at the show. The valves and seats will be used on competitors’ frac pumps at the Jianghan and Shengli oilfields. Rubin added current customers are seeing the success of Gardner Denver valves and seats and extending their orders.

In the past several years, Gardner Denver has expanded its presence in China by hiring local employees, including a full-time sales engineer based in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Gardner Denver will also soon be hiring a country manager.
